A short adventure through the caves and ruins of old.

Be careful though, as the darkness in these ruins hold a mysterious and deadly power only being held back by the lights your predecessors have left.

This was made for the weekly game jam 152 with the theme shelter

Didn't really know how to use the theme but I wanted to try and make a game with better graphics and atmosphere so this was the result. Was very proud of my tiles since it's the first time I made good looking ones

What a fantastic little game!  Aesthetic is killer, and the platforming in general is well polished.  Coyote time, jump height control, the works!  All the mechanics work well together, and everything was really intuitive. Nice job!

Visually, this looks really good! But for some reason it's super laggy in-browser. Would it be possible to make this downloadable so I could check it out properly?

[Edit] I actually went and downloaded an entirely different browser just to play this, and -- wow!! Really a visual and auditory treat. The player felt really good to control, too, and I love that there were multiple areas to explore! Really cool, great job!!! You really nailed what you set out to do. And as for the theme, I think it's appropriate -- you've got the idea of hearth and home, fire and light being safety and shelter, especially when contrasted with the darker, more dangerous environment.
